Welcome to the Maker Studio
Welcome to our Maker Track training page for the Maker Studio! Here you will find the training videos and handouts required to review in order to become certified on our Maker Studio equipment. Certification is required to reserve and use the Maker Studio.
The Maker Track includes the following 4 machines: the 3D Printer, the Carvey Machine, the GlowForge Laser Cutter, and the Mayku Mold Maker.
3D Printer
The 3D Printer is staff operated. We are happy to receive your print requests through our reference e-mail address, at which point we will give you a time and price estimate for your print. 3D prints cost $0.25 per half hour of printing time.

Carvey
The Carvey is a 3D carving machine that works with a free design program called Easel.

Easel Inventables
Your design must be in Easel in order to use the Carvey. Easel accounts are free and easy to use, and your design can be created from your home computer before arrival at the Library.
GlowForge Laser Cutter
The GlowForge Laser Cutter is staff operated, but we do ask that you work with us to create your project.

Mayku Formbox Mold Maker
The Mayku Mold Maker is a vacuum form maker that utilizes plastic mold sheets that can be purchased from the Library for $1 per sheet.
