Youth and Young Adult Services

Our Youth Services Department serves children from birth through 6th grade.

  • Early literacy classes for children ages 4 months through age 5 and their families
  • Drop-in Saturday family early literacy classes, including bilingual Spanish/English
  • Book clubs for grades K-6
  • After-school programs for grades K-6
  • BLAST (Brookfield Public Library After School Time) for grades 1-4
  • READ to the Dogs & READ to the Cat events for young readers
  • Special events for children and families
  • Outreach visits to area preschools, elementary and junior high schools
  • Library tours for scouting and other groups                                              

Our Young Adult Department serves youth from 6th grade through high school.
