Age Options Grant
The Brookfield Public Library was awarded a $12,000 grant from Age Options to enhance its older adult programming with a focus on combating social isolation in the community.
Though this grant, the Library will continue to build upon its current offerings, as well as offer new and exciting opportunities to our older community members. For more information on classes and events, please check our Events Calendar. In addition to new events and classes, the Library will also use the grant to improve its technology offerings and expand its Home Delivery service.
A big thank you to Age Options for giving us this opportunity for giving us this opportunity to expand our services for seniors!
Home Delivery Services
We are committed to serving those Brookfield residents who may find it difficult to come into the Library. If you, a friend, or loved one would benefit from home delivery of library services, please complete the interest form, which can be found here. Once your form is received, Library staff will work with you to request materials and set up deliveries.
To learn more about the service, please contact the Information Desk at extension 130.
AARP Tax Assistance
During tax season, professional tax preparers volunteer to assist our senior patrons on an appointment basis, typically in February and March. Check our Events Calendar for more information.
